Malaika Carpenter
Malaika is a student, writer, intern and soon-to-be marketing professional with a passion for words, ideas and people. Graduating May 2008, the senior marketing major is currently working at Tierney Communications as an account management intern. She enjoys educating others on how to grow their ideas through advertising and strategic marketing. As an INROADS Intern, she worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Pfizer for two consecutive summers. Upon graduation, she will work full-time with Pfizer in sales. Malaika also served as news editor for university student newspaper, The Temple News and published articles in professional business newspaper, The Philadelphia Business Journal. Her philosophy: Success starts with a smile, positive outlook and a desire for taking on challenges. And Malaika is always smiling!
