SCA has received much recognition for its sustainability and ethical practices, including being named as “one of the world’s most ethical companies” by the Ethisphere Institute for the last three years.

    They are looking for Temple Students to fill the role of Inside Sales Intern for the Spring semester. This is a great opportunity and it is also a part-time, paid internship.

    The internship is with the SCA Americas Tissue division at the corporate offices in Philadephia, PA. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Inside Sales Interns will be responsible for augmenting inside sales out-bound calling efforts to end-customers to capture marketing campaign and distribution business opportunities. In this role you will be responsible for learning SCA Tissue’s go-to-market strategy and understand and offer SCA product and value proposition in order to qualify leads.

    Qualifications for this internship include:
    •College or University degree in progress- business, communications or other related field.
    •1-3 years experience in an office environment, call center environment preferred
    •Ability to work 20 hours per 5 day work week
    •Working knowledge of Outlook
    •Proficient in Excel and Access
    •Experience using a customer relationship management program or database application
    •Ability to learn specialized software as needed
    •Sales experience is desirable

    3) You must have marketing skills, knowing actually how to illustrate their advertising ideas.

  • PR/Marketing/Events Internship

    Today’s featured internships are PR, Marketing and Advertising  internships with Education by Inclusion Inc (ebi). EBI is a start-up organization working for a great cause.

    It is a benefit corporation dedicated to improving education right here in Philadelphia. As a locally-focused start-up, they create scholarships for Philadelphia high school students by selling donated books and other items such as refurbished electronics through various e-commerce channels.

    If you apply and get selected for this interesting internship, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of marketing  to community partners both for-profit and non-profit, Universities, and the general public including: promotional materials, public presentations, advertising techniques, and donation/procurement activities and events.

    You will definitely learn a lot through jobs such as developing promotional materials, making public presentations and implementing new marketing strategies.

  • PR/Marketing Internship- Ambler Campus

    The Ambler Campus Marketing and Public Relations Office is looking for a student intern for the 2010-11 school year. The selected student would start immediately and will be able to build their own schedule (200 hours per semester). The intern will be compensated at the end of each semester with a stipend.

    Responsibilities include writing and copy-editing support (print and online), electronic marketing, assisting all EarthFest Coordinators (and attending the big event), assisting with various campus events, and more – based on your interests!
