“Take an Entrepreneur to Lunch” has four steps:
1. Identify an entrepreneur who has qualities you greatly admire
2. Schedule a 30-minute meeting (we provide some tips and ideas on how to get your foot in the door)
3. Interview this entrepreneur
4. Submit an entrepreneurial hero nomination
Once all nominations have been collected, 25 American Marketing Association Collegiate members
will be named semi-finalists and selected to create a short story about their nominee. Upon submission of their story, each AMA semi-finalist will receive a $400 grant to pay for registration and other fees to attend the 2009 AMA Annual Collegiate Conference.
Three AMA semi-finalists will be chosen winners, based on the compelling telling in their hero’s story of how the entrepreneur was innovative and successful in marketing and sales. These three winners will receive
at the AMA Conference grants to pay for their education expenses (third place $500, second place $750 and first place $1,000).
All nominations are due by Nov. 23, so you’ll need to get started right away to get a meeting scheduled.
