Microsoft Student Partner Program

Microsoft® Student Partners (MSP) Program

The Microsoft® Student Partners (MSP) Program recognizes top young minds from around the world who are passionate about technology and marketing. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop real world skills & to help you succeed in your future career, to help others learn about technology & marketing, and to connect with other likeminded students, all while having a ton of fun!

MSPs share their passion with others, host Xbox gaming tournaments, plan & market campus events, partner with campus organizations, and blog about their experiences. In return MSPs get access to Microsoft software, training, as well as privileged information about future opportunities. Most importantly, the MSP Program has a campus externship component so students are constantly learning about the marketing discipline. MSPs participate in bi-weekly presentations by Microsoft marketing folks on the campaigns they work on, the challenges they face, & how they got where they are today. So if you are passionate about technology and marketing, we want you!

Going.com Launch Team Opportunity

GOING.COM NEEDS MEMBERS FOR THEIR PHILADELPHIA LAUNCH TEAM!

What is Going.com?
Going.com tells you not only what’s going on in the city, but who’s going. Think of it like a highly local MySpace, but without all the garbage and noise. People locally use the site to keep up with what’s going on, concerts, festivals, nightlife, and see who’s going. Promoters also use the site to market to these groups and to take advantage of the tools the site offers, like sophisticated guest list management, ticketing, subpromo URLs, etc. Right now, we’re in Los Angeles, San Francisco, NYC, Miami, Chicago and Boston, and have over 1.5 million users. We’re about to grow tremendously because we’ve attracted some really amazing partners and investors, including Universal Music Group, and we are now launching in 20 new cities.

What is the Launch Team?
This month, we will be launching Going.com in Philadelphia, and we are looking for bright, young, and enthusiastic people to join our Launch Team! The Launch Team’s role is to get out the word about Going.com. Each person on the team has a goal to get 500 people registered on Going. In exchange, you’ll receive $100 if your emails/Myspace blast gets us to that number. We’ll even help you out in getting people signed up! We can set up a group page on Going for a concert, either this summer or next semester in your city, and to those who express interest in the event can RSVP at Going.com.

Also if you bring in the most users during the month of May and June for Philadelphia, we’ll hook you up with much, much more - we’re planning a trip, and backstage passes to various parties and concerts!

How can I join?
If you are interested in joining, please send me an email at jennifer@going.com
I’ll fill you in on the details of what the next steps are.
